Windland, Inc. announced Idaho’s first commercial wind power
project in July 2002. The proposed project will be sited on Federal
Bureau of Land Management administrated land atop Cotterel Mountain
in Cassia County, southeast of Burley. The well-documented, highly
energetic winds will
generate enough power for approximately 45,000 homes a year. |
