Windland has assembled and purchased approximately 100 parcels of land over an eleven year period in order to develop this site in Mojave, California. The wind resource is one of the best in California.

After environmental work was completed, zoning was granted. enXco joined Windland as co-developer of the project and 60 - 1 MW Mitsubishi turbines were installed in late 2004. The power is being sold to San Diego Gas & Electric.
